I ask of life to shine meaning in everyone who is searching. ~Aurora Hernandez
Let us all have something we can believe . it is sad of earth fire wind and sea that you do not listen to me. There is darkness in all this land, but yet every day I will stand For faith, for hope, for every love, every dream As things are not always as they seem. But I know that out among the clouds There is a Higher power that if we believe we can stand proud In hope. – deborahmills © 2013
The red- headed man in his 30s, knelt daily on his knees. A father of 6, a pastor of 100, a leader of many who came daily, although young, I never met some one so wise. Once again he bowed before the spirit that he served with faith. This, my mentor, my friend, I came to in my weakest hours, for yes, we all get weak. As I cried over adversity in my life, in the people I tried to serve with love, with positivity, he grows silent. He tells me a story of a woman. Facing hard adversity, many trials, the night came when once again her husband didn’t show up at home. 1, 2, 3 am came yet the kids in bed, he didn’t show up. In her depression , she had not cleaned the supper dishes, so at 3 am, she started to wash the dishes. The kitchen sink was stopped up. This was more than she could bear, so she got every pill in the house, lined them all up of the table with glass of water. The knock came on the door. Our lovely red-haired shepard stood there. Spirit had told him to come. The young woman had not called him, he just knew to come. He calmly took a coat hanger, unstopped the sink, lit the candle, he led in meditation, prayer , affirmation. In one hour, the husband came home. He said, not everyone will accept as this young woman did, they have ears, but they will not hear, they have eyes but will not see. When each one calls us, comes to us, or we show up in their lives, spirit is involved. We must teach them that when adversity comes, it means that they are doing something right, or the darkness wouldn’t try to attack them so much. Stand strong is our faith as these even the angry ones are reaching out, crying out, grasping for just one good thing to hold on to for just this day. So when adversity comes my way, I now thank the spirits for it reminds me that I must be doing something right to be attacked so strongly. I just dig my heels in to try harder. This man, my mentor, 5 years ago, was allowed to pass to the Other Side where all is peace, light. He made his journey doing what he loved, riding his motorcycle. Don North, my mentor, my friend now comes to me in spirit. I thank him for reminding me today of High Power’s love, the spiritual world’s helping hands.
Animal totems: Raven: Bro raven with his black coat of feathers is the messenger of the gods. His color is a protective color so as he brings the messages from the gods, he is not harmed by the enemies who would attack. He faces the storms, the winds to fly high above them, still continuing to believe in miracles, in magick as he is the messenger. His caw much like crows heralds the truth, the dangers or the good news that changes are coming.
I am off this morning as usual. Remember I encourage emails as we need to write out our stuff rather than harbor in our heart . I will answer all emails this afternoon before starting calls. Today is my grandson’s last day here so we are going to the water park. Being with this wonderful young man has renewed my faith, my belief that we are not going to he… in a handbasket. I look forward to sharing with all spirit sends my way, at all times, I ask spirit to give me the right words to say, how to say it clearly, wisely. Oh how I long to be truly wise as my old mentor. May the fairies dance around each of us today. Love ya, Rev Deborah A Mills, PhD, Cherokee, Cidro, Frankiecapone, Sugar Fortune Cookie, T and my babies who run with Don in the clouds with the eagles, Bob and Bets.
