In this article I will be discussing the natal chart of the just-named newest royal, Prince George Alexander Louis. Prince George was born on Monday, July 22, 2013 at 3:24 pm in London, England. I am also chatting about him with Leslie on Friday!
Prince George is going to have an illustrious career and a long life partly signified by not just one but BOTH Lights aspecting the Ascendant. (This is why birth time is so important. We need that Ascendant and only a precise time will give it!)
The Sun and Moon aspecting the Ascendant is very powerful and indicates that he will be very popular with the public (Moon) and successful in implementing his goals in life (Sun).
He will be a natural leader as will his future wife, symbolized by Venus conjunct royal fixed star Regulus which indicates a rise in position, generosity, prominence and very high achievements. Venus also rules his house of friends, so he will have many powerful allies in life as well.
He may be English but he'll have "the luck of the Irish" with his Ascendant ruler Mars conjunct a highly exalted Jupiter all of his life. As pointed out by others, this means he will officially hold the title of "King" one day.
Mars in Cancer is a mixed position as it is in Fall but also in Honor of Triplicity which indicates that his life will be a mixture of fortunate and unfortunate times. Jupiter next to Mars helps him tremendously as does the sextile from Venus and trine from Saturn and Neptune.
He has that Grand trine in water which means that he will triumph in whatever he chooses, he will have all of the support that he needs to accomplish his goals.
The placement of Mars in the 8th house of transformation, hidden matters, investigation, joint resources, and death has some people speculating about how this will work out. One doesn't have to look too far back in history, and read current news, to come up with ideas.
For those of us who remember the 1980s when AIDS was first introduced (similar to Mers Cov virus springing up in the Middle East now.) It was a very frightening time as it was a new virus, there were uncertainties in how it spread. Even after they were able to determine that HIV was spread through unprotected sex, there was still the issues of whether it could be caught from saliva or even a sneeze.
People were terrified and fear brought panic and irrational responses. Those inflicted with AIDS were treated as pariahs in many instances. Some churches at the time said it was a curse of God on the gays. The end of the world was near!
So it was especially courageous of Princess Diana, who as a royal nonetheless, stepped up and faced this public terror by visiting hospitals and holding hands, even hugging patients with HIV and AIDS.
In Princess Diana's chart, she had 6 out of 10 planets in the 2/8 house axis.
Prince George Alexander Louis or the 'princeling' as some call him, also has 6 planets in the 2/8 axis. He may also, like his grandmother, initiate new ways of dealing with the ancient and future threats of plagues, wars and recession.
Princess Diana became "Queen of the Peoples Hearts" and like Prince George had a Saturn ruled Moon in a sextile to her Ascendant and trine her Midheaven.
Prince George's chart is very powerful and I expect great things from him in the future. Long live the little King of People's Hearts!
