What happened when I ignored my own reading

I know some psychics can't read for themselves and when I've got to ask a question about something I'm very emotional about I’m one of them. However, most of the time I'm just curious with no strong emotions attached. When I was younger I was quite the party girl. Foolishly I shopped for Mr. Right in bars and night clubs. Bwaahahahaha! What happy hunting grounds if you’re seeking players and drunks!
I had about five places I kinda liked to go to party. I'd get ready to go out and then read the cards to see where I'd meet someone interesting and where I'd have the most fun. It never failed though that when I saw some kind of bad news at a place, curiosity would get to me. I'd feel like I just had to go and see what the bad news was!
One Friday night the reading said if I went to the TNT night club, I'd surprisingly run into someone from my past who wasn't exactly a friend and it would be a painful and damaging meeting. Curiosity led me like a moth to a flame. I couldn't miss that! I had to see what the cards were talking about.
Sure enough I ran into Johnny Tenkiller*. A little background here: He had been my best friend's boyfriend many years earlier. He was married and an alcoholic even back then. He was a good looking, blue eyed, dark skinned, Cherokee Indian. During the time he was going with my friend, he caught me carrying two full pitchers of beer and walked up like he was going to whisper something in my ear, I leaned forward to hear it and he kissed me on the lips.
How dare he risk my valuable friendship when I wouldn't have wanted the likes of him (married and a drunk) even if she wasn't in the picture! How dare he think I wasn’t a real friend even if he thought I had lousy taste in men! Worst of all, although I yanked myself back from him as fast as I could move, the jerk had the softest lips I’d ever felt!! That doubled my anger for some reason.
I didn’t cuss him out and cause a scene. Instead I decided to put a stop to his b.s I made up a rant about all the reasons I was prejudiced against native American Indians. Now bear in mind - I'm part Choctaw myself. I am not prejudiced against Indians at all. But I knew he would never make a pass at me again and I was right.
When I ran into him at TNT’s, many years had passed and he says "Lollie! How are you?!!" as he shakes my hand, squeezing it so hard he bent my ring nearly in half. It was extremely painful. It took a pair of sharp nosed pliers to get it off and left a black bruise on that finger. If I hadn't already read about it, seen it coming and had to go check it out, it wouldn't have happened. So I really didn't get mad at Johnny. He was a drunk carrying a grudge I'd planted myself. I did get away from him. I've never walked any where near him since. I had done a bang up job of making him think I hated Indians. And sure enough, after what he did, I do avoid that particular one.
No man has ever tried to get me to betray a friend without discovering very quickly that, surprise, surprise - he couldn't stand me after all. I've seen women that call themselves friends who easily flirt with a friend's man, flirt and more. I call them fools. Give up a good friend for a cheater? Could a person make a worse trade? I’ve been ignorant in my life and done more ignorant things than I can count or remember. But I sure am glad that’s one mistake I’ve never made
The point of sharing this story is to let you know it's okay and I fully understand when my reading directs you away from something and you have to go check it out anyways. I still do it myself and probably always will. Curiosity gets to me every time! :)
