I know how to hold a grudge I can send a bridge up in smoke And I can't count the people I've let down, the hearts I've broke You ain't gotta dig too deep If you wanna find some dirt on me I'm learning who you've been Ain't who you've got to be It's gonna be an uphill climb Aww honey I won't lie I ain't no angel I still got a few more dances with the devil I’m cleaning up my act little by little I’m getting there I can finally stand the man in the mirror I see I ain’t as good as I’m gonna get But I’m better than I used to be – Tim McGraw
An elder of the law stood up in the courtyard, confronting the Teacher, the Master Jesus, asking about achieving eternal life, asking about who is my neighbor. Jesus, the great prophet, the great teacher, the great miracle worker, told the story about the Good Samaritan. Luke 10-25-37. See, Samaritans were considered heathens. Yet in Jesus story, he was the hero. Far more than the so called “religious” men of the Hebrew faith. The great thing about Jesus is that no matter the actions of people, what we profess, the more we try to prove how good we are, how much we brag, post pictures, words on social media about what good “Religious “ people they are, the truth is unless we back up those words, those posts with true actions of love, of heart, we are not the good Samaritan. See, we are doing something to make a difference when we are the good Samaritan. Yes, people are going to criticize, others are going to start digging in our lives to dig up the “dirt” of past youthful, maybe even yesterday’s mistakes. Only those of us who are doing something make mistakes. Only those of us who are trying with our whole heart, we can be humbly thankful that we at least did something anything. Everyone has skeletons. Everyone has done dumb things, or things that can hurt others, yet the truth of the matter is we all change. We all grow, we don’t have to be the dumb kid stumbling in the dark trying to find our path, our way. WE aren’t as good as we’re going to get but by gosh we are better than we used to be. !

His medicine teaches us that quiet, solitude, having alone time is not all that bad. in his aloneness, this totem shows us how to use our power, our spiritual strength, to serve, as Bro Wallaby is a great protector of Mother earth. His medicine is all about plants, his knowledge his wisdom, of knowing which exact ones to eat, which ones to save for later growth for the greater good of the whole.
