I thought I would share an experience I had the past two weeks. I decided as a gift to myself for my birthday last week that I would order a new tarot deck. I have become a tarot junkie. *grin* Well I have been having my eyes on "The Fenestra Tarot". I love the background and the whimsical faces and how it almost looks like a traditional deck. When I told my fiance that I was getting a tarot deck, his response was "Most women want jewelry, my girl wants a tarot deck" and with a roll of the eyes as a cute joke. So I ordered it on February 4 from Amazon. Right after I made the order, in the recommendation area there was another tarot deck that just kept saying "buy me...buy me...you need me". Now at first I just brushed it off as nothing, but it kept pulling me back. The deck is "The Angel Tarot" by Doreen Virtue. So I did some research online, found some youtube videos. The only difficulty I would have is that this is the size of a oracle deck and I do have small hands. I was worried about being able to shuffle this deck, but found a tutorial on how to shuffle large decks. The cards are beautiful. I don't know why it was labeled 100% safe, because I never found any deck to be a danger. Maybe since tarot can have some horrible imagery. Like the 10 of Swords or the 3 of Swords. So anyway I just put this deck in my wishlist to order the next time.
February 7 came around and still Amazon didn't ship out my order for "The Fenestra Tarot". Never had Amazon take this long before. So I made a choice that if by next week (which is this week) it still hasn't been shipped, I would cancel my order and purchase "The Angel Tarot". Amazon usually takes up to 2 days tops to ship my orders out so this was perplexing to me.
February 10 arrived and we were in a brand spanking new week. I went to Amazon and still...not shipped. By this time, "The Angel Tarot" had been in my mind that I HAVE to have it. I NEED this deck in my life. I heard voices urging me to order this. So, I did. I canceled my order for "The Fenestra Deck" and ordered "The Angel Tarot" instead. That night, it was shipped out and I am to get this gorgeous deck Thursday.
I currently own "Angel Heart Sigils" by Stewart Pearce. As of late, every time I use this oracle deck, a wonderful tingling happens. I really believe that I am being led by angels.
Was it normal that a practicing Witch to be visited by such beings? Apparently so based on my research. I have found out that it doesn't matter what religion or lack of you belong to, they are around us. These beings of pure light. It is just nice to know I am being led to good things. What a wonderful feeling...now I am extremely anxious to get this deck!
