Raindrops on roses, whispers on kittens, bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens, brown paper packages tied up with strings, these are a few of my favorite things. When the dog bites, when the bee stings, when I feeling sad, I simply remember my favorite things and then I don’t feel so bad. – Rodgers and Hammerstein
Raindrops keep falling on my head -And just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed Nothin' seems to fit Those raindrops are falling on my head, they keep falling So I just did me some talkin' to the sun And I said I didn't like the way he' got things done Sleepin' on the job Those raindrops are falling on my head, they keep falling But there's one thing I know The blues he sends to meet me won't defeat me It won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me- B.J.Thomas ( according to my research)
Sunday , ah, the day of rest, play, football, the Sun. This day is ruled Sunne, the Saxon English god of the Sun. In the old days, long before the Reformers came, the people of the Celtic English Saxon backgrounds used Sunday as a day to get ready for the week. When these Old ones petitioned the Spiritual powers, the petitions were about new jobs, or money flows. The prayers went up for fertility , for abundance, for new, exciting things to happen during the week. A time to reflect, to ask for our lives to be renewed. Father Sol, the sun, was a main source of energy, the same as today. With the energy of fire, mixture with water, we have electricity, gas, heat. Not much has changed in the universe from these days, except we, the people, have become more cynical, less trusting of the ways of the universe. We have forgotten the whole of the universe, the whole of the nature’s system is set up to provide our needs, for man. Every form of spiritual text teaches us this. Sometimes we according to every known religion of man, need to believe these things. There are days when no matter how much the rain is falling down on our head, no matter how hard the days seem, we have to believe that the “ Sun will come out tomorrow. Bet your bottom dollar tomorrow, come what may , we’re only a day away.” - CHARLES STROUSE;MARTIN CHARNIN
animal totems: Gosbeak sings in the sun. Sister grosbeak’s totem medicine is to heal old hurts, put our thoughts back on the one little positive thing today rather than all the old junk we need to forgive or let go. reflection today on the good things we can be thankful for in our lives, connection to family as she is very loyal to her brood, she protects them before all else. A mother grosbeak will pretend to have a broken wing to walk away from her nest to get dangerous animals or people from her young. She teaches us to sing in the midst of trouble without fear.
I am off this am to take my mother to her worship , but will be returning this evening as usual. I will be answering email readings, etc this afternoon before starting calls. in fairness I do the paid emails first, then in order any and all emails. I haven’t had too much trouble with getting calls to connect. keen is working hard to try to make sure we are connecting in the best way. I will be working most of Thanksgiving day as this week we understand that sometimes this is a lonely time, but the Great spirit has a plan, that one special good things each day that the sun brings. may the fairies dance around each of us today. love ya, Me, Cherokee, Cidro, Frankiecapone, Sugar Fortune Cookie, T and the sweet spirit of Bob and Bets.
