1. Cut out polite conversation.  If you were my neighbor that would be rude. But you're not my neighbor, you're my paying client and it's silly for you to pay for "how are you doing today?" "Oh pretty good, how about you?" "blah, blah, blah."  

2. Quit telling us the story first. For one thing, if you tell me you just had a fight, then I see in the cards he thinks you're mad at him, how can you know what I said was psychic? If you tell us what's going on first, there is no way to know if we're being psychic or just logical.  Better to say, "This is Jenny, how's Bill feeling towards me today?" Or "Am I going to lose my job?" Think about it... which call costs less: Questions and answers? Or you tell me the background story first, then questions and answers?

3. Quit calling psychics that ask you more questions than you ask them. It should go without saying, but it doesn't.  Really, a clarifying question on occasion is one thing, but calls where they're just digging you... that's money unwisely spent.

4. Grab free minutes when and where you can.  I'm not the only one here who gives free minutes to first time callers. I'm not the only one here who gives you free minutes for referrals.  But the best way to find out is to ask.  The occasional 'no' won't hurt you, but three or four free minutes is a full reading if  you don't waste time. :)

5. Nothing is more important than accuracy, and speed is a close second. That's where you get the most bang for your buck.  Those of you who are already my clients know me, some answers fly out before you've finished the question. Other times you'll hear me mutter for five or ten seconds as I figure out what I'm seeing... in all cases, as soon as I 'get it', I share it. If you run on to a reader who seems to be stretching the call though that's a big red flag. 

6. Use a timer.  I know it sounds crazy, but I love giving one minute readings as much as I love giving 20 minute readings. What I hate are calls that are interrupted repeatedly for you to add money minute by minute.  So for everyone's sake, use a timer, not the minute by minute addition of money. It's so irritating I've actually blocked callers that always do it. I like money as much as the next person, but I live to be accurate and I love being sane.

7. When you can, bundle your questions.
 "I've got three men written down here, what can I expect this week from each of them?" or "I've sent my resume to 4 different places I've written down here, which ones will I get?" "I'm trying to decide between 2 different cars, will it be the first one I saw or the second one?"   If you've written them down I just shuffle and read the answers row by row.  I used to be a party girl and every weekend I would read which clubs I would have more fun at in about two minutes.  Bundling the questions save time and increases clarity, because each answer is relative to the others.  

8. Take notes with all of us and only call the ones back who are mostly hitting it right. Take good clear notes. It's easy to filter my actual words "he's going to call you in either two weeks or two days, one or the other" down to your hope... "He's calling me in two days!!" Then when he calls exactly two weeks later, some would say - "well she was way off, she said it would only be two days!"  These misunderstandings don't happen if you take notes or record the call.

No matter how good I am at reading, no matter how well you take notes... I will still sometimes be wrong because I am human and as such I can make a mistake now and then. But I swear without notes some of you don't remember the readings as well as I remember your futures! The way to get the most accuracy for the least money is by taking notes with all of us and only calling back the ones that are mostly hitting it right.

Today is also the Winter Solstice here in the Northern Hemisphere. It is the first day of Winter! Winter is often seen as a time of the year when we go through a transformation. It is a time where we shed our old 'skin'--or old self--and transform into a new version of ourselves. Sometimes this season can be depressing as we often feel pulled away from loved ones--family and friends--though it can also pull us closer to others. We all react differently to the season. (Happy Spring to my Southern Hemisphere friends!) Having longer nights can cause us to feel lonelier, more sad, and other negative feelings. During the current pandemic, this 'grey cloud' that Wintertime can bring is even more prevalent. I have been relying on my Faith to get me through much of the turmoil that this year has brought. That is why I wanted to speak today about promises.

Promises are a guarantee of what is to come. A spiritual promise is encouraging to us in many ways. There is a promise that one day the struggles we are currently facing--whatever they may be--will be a thing of the past and that we will surmount them. On October 9^th, the stock market dropped and we saw an attempt to kidnap the Michigan governor. On August 13^th, news broke the US Post Office was being manipulated and mail counting machines were being destroyed to slow down postal service. In all likelihood we will see events of this nature happening again.

My best advice is to avoid arguments and difficult people this week, and focus on the positive and the holiday spirit. If you feel a bubbling anxiety or anger, try and get to the bottom of it. With Pluto aspects we do have the possibility of transformation with a great deal of work. Either way, we won’t experience this transit again. Picture what it would look like if you were to throw a baseball at a glass window. You know how the glass gets spiral fractures, and then there's the lines that splinter out in all directions? In between, there are microfractures, smaller cracks that ripple around through the glass, connecting the more visible lines. If you've ever watched a crime analysis show's close-up of analyzing fracture patterns, you have a good idea of the kind of pattern I'm picturing. Well, every time a life lands on earth, fate splinters in many directions, for that life.

Every life has certain things that are more definite possibilities, although they aren't the same from person to person, and they aren't necessarily what we would consider life changing events, necessarily. For me, one such moment was simply kissing my husband under a specific lamp post in the snow. It shone down on us in the curtain of falling snowflakes just so, and I knew that I had experienced that moment in many ways in prophetic dreams when I was younger. His life was rough, and his responses to it could have varied widely. But one way or another, he would have found me, and we would have had that kiss. I simply knew it, and for years in advance.

Moments like that may occur no matter which side roads we have taken, because it's one of those points where all the glass fractures happen to come together. Would it have happened if I hadn't gone back to college, or if I hadn't gotten that specific car? I don't know, but I think so....

And see, that's where fate comes into it. We have so many possibilities to choose from, but many of our daily decisions don't matter. Certain points will occur no matter what we do, while others may not. It's a question of whether we cross the right finish line - but we don't know that we're in a race, or what were racing toward.

But there is no single right thing we can know to do, except when there is. You need to use the right words with your ex. Don't slip up or you'll wind up in the wrong conversation.
