Kate Middleton, The Duchess of Cambridge, has given birth to a baby boy, George Alexander Louis, born 7-22-2013 at 4: 24 p.m. London, UK 8 lbs and 6 oz. Congratulations William and Kate! It was a long 10 hour delivery as astrologers around the world waited for an announcement of the birth time placing bets as to whether he would be a Cancer or Leo, Moon in Capricorn or Aquarius individual, boy or girl, and what it would all mean.

His chart contains a stellium of 4 planets in Cancer, a grand water trine, a Jupiter-Mars conjunction, a prominent T-square, 3 major oppositions, 3 Pluto oppositions and three sextiles. What this means is that some things will come easy in his life with his grand trine. He is born a Prince into a life of wealth and privilege and will have lifelong friends. He will have empathetic family members and flow through life in some regards with ease and will be sophisticated and sexy in adulthood. But, in his life, death will color his outlook and he will be involved in major power struggles many times over. Finances/investments and money will one day become an issue along with the monarchy itself, and he may play a role  that alters the country he rules.  He may feel he must control or be controlled and have a temper. Cruel choices may present themselves in his life, and he will have to determine whether to chose a life of compassion and service to others or self-serving interests.  He will no doubt have a wife one day, but she may not be his first or only love, he will likely have trouble through women, and he will have a internal struggles he will share with few, and face demons he may keep secret from the general population for a time or for a lifetime.

All of these issues will make him who he will be, and anyone who believes this child will be a mirror image of any other current royal is making  a mistake. His is a very complex chart made difficult by the oppositions and T-square, but softened to some extent by the Grand Water Trine.

George is a 29 degree Cancer with a 28 degree moon in Capricorn and a 27 degree Scorpio ascendant. The Saturn/midheaven degree (24 and 25 Scorpio) of the current Queen Elizabeth is conjunct his ascendant degree of 27 Scorpio. This means she will play a major role and be a role model in his early development, teaching him to be cautious and serious. The impressions she makes early on will last a lifetime. The Queen's Pluto at 13 degrees of Cancer also conjuncts his Mercury, exact, and this transit as well will exert a great influence between the current monarch and the future one. Individuals with this comparative transit can investigate mysteries together and have a psychic bond. On the negative side it can produce suspicion and mistrust at times but no matter what it will be a connection he will carry into adulthood and for the rest of his life.

Your ascendant is the mask you present to the world, and with a Scorpio ascendant he will be intense, secretive and powerful. Many things happen under the surface to those with a Scorpio ascendant that remain secretive and hidden. They can become a powerful or a destructive force depending on how the energy is channeled. Nothing about this individual will be shallow.

When Saturn enters the 24th-27th degree of Scorpio conjunct his ascendant there could be a significant changes of some type in the Royal family. This will occur 3 times between the early part 2014 through June-September of 2015.

The baby boy is a Cancer-barely. The birth was at 4:24, and the Sun entered Leo on the same day just minutes later. He is a 29.59 degree Cancer!  Talk about being born on the cusp. But, this royal boy is a Cancer several times over.

Cancer is the 4th sign of the zodiac and the most sensitive of signs. Cancer has the natural ability to empathize and tune in to other people.  A good talent for someone who will be a future ruler—and of course it is not lost that Princess Diana was a Cancer as well, whose greatest gift was her ability to connect with others. His Sun is at what is considered a critical degree in astrology. Jupiter, Mars and Mercury are also in the Cardinal sign of Cancer, so while this boy may be sensitive he will also be a leader who will be capable of making decisions and taking action.

George's father William is also a 1 degree Cancer (with a moon in Cancer), like his Grandmother Princess Diana, and as he grows we will see many familial similarities emerge that all began with Diana. He will be tightly connected to both parents throughout his life and after their deaths, although things will not always be storybook or calm as his Mars-Pluto T-square clashes with the Mars of his Father, William, and his Mother as well. This is a volatile transit and there will be differences of opinions and attitudes whether it becomes publicly known at the time or not.

The moon is a barometer of our emotional life and his Moon lies at 28 degrees of Capricorn. Moon in Capricorn individuals are generally considered serious and often devoted to duties and responsibilities. Practical situations and responsibilities will always win out over emotional situations or fun. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, the planet of structure, hard work and responsibility. With a moon in Capricorn he will have a deep emotional connection to his Mother, who is an 18 degree Capricorn, also with a moon in Cancer! Family themes will emerge among these three that will become known to the world by their actions as they all age and come into the world spotlight. This will be a very private and family oriented group of royals, who will be far different to what we have been accustomed to over the years, especially during the 1990's. Had Diana lived she would have no doubt been the true matriarch of this clan and found great personal happiness through her family.

Those born under a full moon are drawn to partnerships, where often drama can play out. This is due to the opposite natures of the Sun and the Moon.  Those born with Moon opposite Sun often have a hard time figuring out exactly what they want, and there can be an internal struggle between their wants and needs. Sometimes their parents give them conflicting messages they can absorb at an early age even if they don't intend to.

Mars conjunct Jupiter is known as the 'Kingmaker transit', and denotes royalty. George Alexander Louis was born with Mars- Jupiter at 5-6 degrees of Cancer, almost exact. Queen Elizabeth was born with a Mars-Jupiter at 20-22 degrees of Aquarius and Prince Charles was born with a Mars-Jupiter conjunction at 20-29 degrees of Sagittarius.

The babys Sun lies in his 8th house, and this is the house of death, regeneration, inheritance, and other people's money and sex. Death will play a major role in his life one way or another, and throughout his life. Of course, a royal is never crowned King or Queen until the death of a family member or spouse. Sun-8th house individuals often live lives that are marked by intensity, secrecy, drama and at times crisis. As the 8th house rules other people's money he will inherit not only a crown but the vast resources that go with it. Financial resources may someday become a source of conflict in the life of this young royal as his moon lies in his 2nd house, ruling earned income, and opposing his 8th house planets of other people's money, death and sex, which will characterize his life themes. We all have life themes that re-appear over and over and the themes in this young royals life are quite heavy and intense.

The child's Paternal Grandmother, Princess Diana had three planets herself placed in her 8th house, opposing her second house moon in Aquarius. She was criticized early on in royal life for her spending, was troubled over the presence of another woman (Camilla) and ultimately died young in a car accident. Much of her life was characterized and documented by drama, pain, and crisis from early on when her Mother left the family home and later when she married Prince Charles.

Mars, Jupiter and Mercury are also in the 8th house placing a greater emphasis on 8th house/Scorpio themes and placing 4 out of 10 planets in his 8th house.  Additionally his ascendant is Scorpio, ruled by the 8th house.

Those with planets in the 8th house are generally interested in the secret world of psychology, life after death, sometimes mediums, the 'hidden secrets,' of the world, parapsychology, the mysteries of life, and often investments and banking along with other peoples resources. Sometimes they have mediumistic tendencies themselves and are always searching.

These individuals always feel the need to go deeper into other people's motivations as well as their own. Activities are often carried out in secret and they can have many secrets themselves.

Mercury in Cancer will make him an emotional thinker and he will be able to tune into the moods and feelings of the masses. As Mercury is stationary direct, its position just after a retrograde, he may be an even deeper thinker.

Power and the abuse of power will be a theme in this individuals life as Pluto opposes his Mercury, Mars, and Jupiter  from his second to eight houses. Pluto opposing Mercury can make him an intense thinker and a natural detective, determined to get to the bottom of any issue. He could become sarcastic at times or verbally intimidate others. Pluto-Mars oppositions can give a great drive to succeed and they are often connected to power struggles, situations involving violence and domination, but can confer great determination. Pluto-Jupiter oppositions can indicate struggles involving money, laws or ethical issues, death, and this shows a person with strong convictions, whatever they are. Pluto oppositions in a chart show circumstances that are often outside the individual's ability to control at some point in his life, but they also show an individual who has the ability to put himself in a prison of his own making. Pluto is about and confers power, and oppositions can show the abuse of power by the individual or by others around him. In his life he may have to see or make major changes that will affect his entire family.

The vestiges and secrets of world  history are written in the charts of  our Monarchs, Presidents and political leaders. Like all children born within and over the next few years, this baby was born with a Uranus-Pluto square in Aries-Capricorn, like those born during the years of 1929-34 who had a generation square in Aries-Cancer.

This  generational transit indicates his life will be touched by outside circumstances that will unveil themselves in the world. Those born during the years of the previous U-P square saw WW11 occur before they were teenagers. They watched the Third Reich rise and fall, along with Mussolini and then Stalin. During this time many of the major European dynasties fell, and the world saw the abdication of Edward Vlll, as he chose to marry American Wallis Simpson, giving up his throne, and the start of the existing royal family as Edwards brother George assumed the throne. King George V  was the current Queen Elizabeth's Father. Had Edward not abdicated Prince William would not be in line for the throne, nor would this new baby!

Some of those born in the mid 1930's later served in the Korean War or the Vietnam war.  The world was at a crisis point before, during and after WW11 and all those who survived lived through major world changes they had no control over.  The world is in no less of a struggle today.

The Uranus-Pluto square indicates changes within his own family and early foundation, and is actually part of a much bigger configuration in his chart called a T-square. This major configuration will be critical in his early life, and his perception of the world and its workings as he reaches adulthood. Like those born under the previous configuration he will experience and be aware of crisis issues in the world during this time into which he was born and they will have their affect.

A T-square is an aspect that contains both an opposition (180 degree angle: Pluto opposing Mercury-Mars-Jupiter) as well as a 3rd planet that creates a square to both planets in the opposition (a square is 90 degrees). In this case the third planet is Uranus.

Uranus is the planet of sudden unexpected change, rebellion, freedom, newness and cutting edge changes and lies in his 4th house of home, family and foundation in the sign Aries. It squares Pluto in Capricorn that lies in his second house of money/income, and his 8th house planets. This paints a picture of many family changes, even deaths over the years and clashes over money, business and perhaps one day, his work. On the other end, Uranus squares his Jupiter, Mars and Mercury.Uranus-Jupiter paints a picture of excitement, and unpredictable adventures and experiences, and inhibiting conflicts. There may be impractical thinking and changes in religious viewpoints.

Uranus square Mars speaks of a desire to act without restraint, and takes unkindly to others whose ideas limit him and a fractious temper that can become out of control. Moderation in all things is called for and he may have an interest in dangerous sports or activities that could prove disastrous. This transit can confer carelessness and danger.  Uranus square Mercury can indicate genus or fragmented thinking, sometimes both. He may be fascinated with computers and electronics and at times his thinking and ideas can change on a dime.

His life pattern and themes will always come back to issues surrounding the T-square in his chart. Family, death, money, sex and the ability to regenerate himself and the monarchy will always be front and center in his life.

A chart with this many oppositions shows a life with many struggles and frustrations that come about through other people. The third opposition I have not yet mentioned is Venus opposing Neptune.

His Neptune lies at 4 degrees of Pisces, retrograde, and like all born during this time, Neptune in the sign it is at home in is powerful. Neptune is Pisces rules spirituality, creativity, compassion or degeneration, and has not been in this sign since 1948. He may explore alternate religions, metaphysics and many different of world views. Neptune lies in his third house of thinking and immediate family members. It is part of a Grand Water Trine that involves Saturn, Mercury, Mars and Jupiter. Grand Water trines are known for conferring ease and harmony at birth and in life. The downside of a grand trine is there is so much ease, the individual may be subject to inertia. Inertia is doubtful in the case of this new royal as there are so many oppositions and a major T-square that will counter balance some of its effects.

His Venus lies in his 9th house ruling spirituality. Of course, the expectation is that one day he will be head of the Church of England.

Venus just moved into Virgo hours before his birth and is considered at its fall here meaning the energy does not work well in this sign. It opposes Neptune from his 3rd to 9th house. The third/ninth house axis rules religion and philosophy, world view, education, publishing and is considered the axis of the mind. With hard aspects here, such as Venus opposing Neptune he may in his life experience legal challenges, or have issues surrounding relatives and immediate family members, that could include a future sister or brother. Religion or world views may also become an issue in life.

Venus, of course rules love and money, and the fact it is in the sign of its fall as well as opposing Neptune shows us a confused image concerning love. Venus-Neptune individuals are romantics, but seem to attract mysterious circumstances connected with their most intimate relationships. Venus-Neptune is an aspect of masquerade, and it does not have to be a love affair that takes place. Venus-Neptune individuals are often engaged in a lifelong search for perfection in a mate. Sometimes they attempt to 'save' someone, or attract someone with Neptunian type issues that can include addictions. Dissatisfaction often occurs followed by more searching. Sometimes they become victims of others dishonesty or they can be dishonest or unclear themselves, or be addicted to love or other substances. Mystery, romance, glamor and intrigue will surround this new royals love life. He shares a similar configuration with his Grandfather, Prince Charles who has a Venus- Neptune conjunction in Libra.

So much more can be written, as this is one of the most complex charts I have viewed in a while, but I will leave it here for now. This is a complicated individual whose life will touch many others and in time become a part of the collective consciousness, just as the Queen of England is today or Princess Diana.

This tiny royal will have many choices to make in life, perhaps more than others. He will have to chose a direction of service to others, or self service. He will live in a pivotal time in the world and may be called upon to make hard decisions. Such is the fate of an individual with so many planets in Scorpio, and Pluto oppositions. Life will be good with a grand water trine and numerous sextiles among his natal planets, but in time not so easy with three major oppositions. He will know his share of heartbreak. It will be up to him to chose the path he takes, and up to his parents to show him the correct path. May God bless the future King of England. .
