Found a 1940 Penney Today ...No Big Deal....Until I started to Think About This Little Penney Made it thru 72 YEARS of Different Hands and Still in Circulation & Intact...How Many items did this Penney Purchase in 72 Years...What Kind Of People Touched this Penney ? Celebrities ? My Father , GrandFather , Great Grandmother, Was it in a Childs Christmas Stocking in 1940..Did it Go to War i...
n A Soldiers Pocket..Where Has this Penney Traveled To ? This Penney Has Been Places I have never Been Met People I Will Never know (except me) .....How Many Times have I Whined & Said "I'll Never Make It" YET this Tiny Piece of Copper Made it through 72 YEARS of Thousands Of Entrusted Hands that Passed it Along and After 72 Years it Sits On My Kitchen Table....Still "With A Purpous" IF This Little Penney Can Make it ....So Can I & So Can You...I'm Going to Hold On to This Penney & Make Certain it Stays In Loving Hands.....Everytime it Rains it rains Penneys From Heaven...
