The Landscape of Readings Pt. 1

With so many different readers with different reading styles it can be confusing to understand what a reading should entail & what a reading is (or is not). With those who have a more flamboyant reading style to those with a more down to earth take it is important to understand how a reader works so that you can choose someone who is in line with what you are looking for.

For me readings are tools for empowerment and guidance just as much if not more so than they are about prediction. Readings should help you to understand what is going on better but also provide you with insight into the actions that you can take to either maintain a particular path and a positive outcome or to shift the situation or path towards a more more favorable outcome. This is a process which often times takes time but also requires that a relationship between the reader and the client is established.

In this hurry up and microwave everything world readings are treated as though the perceived telescope of psychic or intuitive gifts can read into past, present and future in 3 minutes flat. True intuitive/psychic talents DO NOT operate in this manner just as much of life does not follow this pattern.
Additionally rather than psychic surfing-going from one reader to another and another and...-its best to establish a relationship with a reader or two that you have come to trust, who offer up both accurate prediction and sound guidance. This does not mean that you should look for the "perfect" psychic because such a thing does not exist. Just as you are able to find your "A" game some days and others day you struggle to find ANY game readers are no different. Just as you do not want people to yell, judge or otherwise slam you when you happen to have an off day its important to follow the Golden Rule with your reader as well. Be honest, but be fair, folks.
Many things can and do influence readings and predictions for what is ahead can be altered or changed entirely based on the day to day circumstances. This is why its vital for readings to be more than just prediction. You want to know how to maintain a path towards a desired outcome and also how to shift things away from an unfavorable outcome. This provides a complete service that helps you to not just know what is ahead but what you can do about it.
When you understand the fundamentals of readings you are able to make informed decisions both about what you are looking for and what sort of reader can provide it to you. Anyone can toss out a prediction or three but a quality reading should extend well beyond just telling you what is ahead. Having a trusting relationship with someone who has shown themselves to be a dynamic reader ensures that you will have a quality reading that touches on all aspects of the situation but also helps you to truly generate and shift things to have the exact outcome desired.
