This week's Horoscopes are coming out under a Void of Course LIBRA Moon that will keep those of us who live out West in limbo 'till about 9:15 AM, and will keep those of us on the East Coast floating around with varying degrees of aimlessness until a little after Noon. As the energy from last night's Eclipse starts to wane, it would be good if we could give ourselves a few hours to assimilate it. Believe it or not, these influences affect us; they enter into the fabric of our lives and call us to examine our behavior and our actions. All of the hype around this first "Blood Moon" eclipse, has to do with the fact that for the first time in eons not only is the Tropical Zodiac marking this node; the Mayan Calendar is now synchronized, and in perfect alignment with it, and so are all of the dates that are sacred in the ancient Hasidic Jewish traditions. When three major timing gears come together in perfect alignment it's a lot like what happens when the tumblers in a combination safe fall into place; it unlocks a vault of change that could not have been opened until that moment in time. It may also help you to know that Eclipses do not happen in isolation. They are connected, they always come in a series, and their patterns play out in six or seven month intervals. To bring last night's eclipse into a down to Earth perspective, it would behoove all of us to consider what was going on with us back in late October, early November of 2013, and frame that experience against whatever has been coming to a head over the last few days. Those two points in time are directly connected and say a great deal about where we are at with ourselves. ARIES: March 21 – April 20 You keep trying to make this look like it's got nothing to do with you. For someone who's so good at letting everyone know how right you are, you have to be able to see that all of this is your baby. Those of you who are ready to clean it up are in better shape than the ones who refuse to be accountable. Everything is on the line. Don't get up in arms. Having the courage to back off and address your issues internally will clear away much of the bullshit and bring the Truth to light. Your strength lies in your willingness to be honest. In this situation, it is your saving grace.
TAURUS: April 21 – May 20
You’ve had enough of the high life. What used to be your favorite arena is too full of nothing to warrant spending time there. Stretch that thought to suit your own scenarios; this is about whatever you’re doing losing its meaning. Stay in close touch with the newly begotten desire to slow down and listen to yourself. Things have been so weird, for so long, you’re not sure where to go for anything anymore. That’s OK. Think of it this way; by definition when life loses its meaning all it means is we’re about to find it again. Perk up. This is a new beginning.
GEMINI: May 21 – June 20
The loose ends in your life are making things look a little ragged. This covers the thought that too much doubletalk and rationalizing has got to be creating weaknesses in the fabric of things that could easily undermine ALL of it. I'm not sure how it goes with you. On so many levels what others could never get away with, you seem to be free to do with no penalty. When you're the one who gets to break all of the rules, who has to pay for it? Maybe it's enough to tell you to be a little more mindful and a little more careful - because Karmic Law applies to all of us.
CANCER: June 21 – July 20
One good thing leads to another and sometimes we’re in a cycle where nothing can go wrong. If you feel like you’ve just opened up it’s because you’re more receptive to change than ever before. Those of you who feel compelled to resist what life is calling you to do are probably wishing that you could press the snooze button and escape into whatever you’re comfortable with. It’s too bad because if you could just let go of even half of what you’re stuck on you’d soon find out that things go better when we allow ourselves to live dangerously.
LEO: July 21 – August 20
You didn’t realize how much spilling the beans would affect people. If you’re wondering why everything’s nuts it’s because you opened the floodgates with your truth telling. When one thing changes, everything changes; that’s the way things go. If your confession was made from a place of wanting to make things right, what you didn’t take into account is that now everyone involved has to rearrange their thoughts and feelings to accommodate it! The fur is flying, all because your wake up call made it mandatory for everyone to finally come to terms with themselves.
VIRGO: August 21 – September 20
You have sustained a lot of pressure with more grace than usual. All kinds of stuff is still too up in the air for you to know what's going on. The weight of feelings that feel heavier than whatever you think you need has to be put aside until all of this external BS becomes more manageable. With what's gone on in the last few weeks you should be clear that you don't need to get lost in fear and worry whenever life appears to be more than you can handle. Take what you can from an experience that has shown you, once again, that you are always supported by the universe.
LIBRA: September 21 – October 20
You hover between the need to be diplomatic, and the wish to wring people's necks. This could translate as - wishing you could unload a million lifetimes of rage without upsetting the applecart. Instead of wasting too much energy throwing more fuel on the fire, try banking it with love and compassion for whatever it is that makes it so hard for others to locate their integrity. You would do well to let go of this particular issue, long enough to see that it takes you back into the past, and into a state of pain and resistance that is anathema to the light on the road ahead.
SCORPIO: October 21 – November 20
You’ve been swept away by things that made you lose yourself. If all of it was necessary at this point you see that nothing will work if you can’t stay centered. I don’t care if you’re the victim of a natural disaster or if this is all due to the fact that you’ve fallen in or out of love; something in you knows that you’ve got to keep a light burning to remind you where you need to stand with things in order to get through this. There is no doubt that you will always be guided safely home. At the moment you need to stay grounded, and hold steady enough to be 100% here for this.
SAGITTARIUS: November 21 – December 20
There’s always a certain sense of satisfaction that comes from being able to say, “I told you so”. You were right about this all along. Now that you’ve been vindicated, the ones who didn’t listen will want to patch up their differences. If that’s the way it goes, don’t lord anything over them and try to forgive them for being so stupid. This lesson has taught you more about yourself than a hundred years of therapy. What you take from it won’t be clear for a while, but the first part of the lesson seems to be about knowing enough to trust your intuition 100% of the time.
CAPRICORN: December 21 - January 20
This is huge; even if you’re not feeling it, so many things are coming together, your life is about to pop. Don’t take this to mean there’ll be a lot of fanfare; some things show up as peace and contentment. Whatever it is, right now you’re growing into something that will refine itself as time goes on. The tendency to get over excited needs to be tempered with patience. Keep working on your craft and stay connected to your bliss. What you’re doing right now isn’t just being done for you; it’ll help a lot of people wake up and begin to believe in themselves.
AQUARIUS: January 21 – February 20
People and their stuff are always too much. Thank God you know enough to distance yourself, even from your own stuff. When the tendency to steer clear takes you too far away from whatever you wish you didn't have to deal with, it's time to embrace the human component whether you want to or not. You are beginning to see that, your own weaknesses have as much to say about why things look the way they do as anything anybody else might be guilty of. Your sense of loss, grief, contempt, whatever it is, could be healed with one ounce of forgiveness.
PISCES: February 21 – March 20
What's on your plate looks like a container ship full of variables that all have to be perfectly balanced for everything to work. I wonder how you're going to manage it? Especially now that too many side issues have cropped up to disturb the illusion that things are 'Just fine'. Whoa baby! Bring your focus down to Earth, just enough to realize that you can't move any of this around until you clear your head of the BS that overruns the banks every time people and their issues crop up to throw you off. Holding steady will require you to haul ass for the next few weeks.
