If you are at all interested in learning to read regular playing card divination, you WILL want to keep and print this information. These are the basics of how suits interact and offer information in readings. And, btw, I LIVE by these rules - I follow this system for every single reading I conduct.
SUIT MEANINGS and SIGNIFICATION:
♠ Spades :negativity, problems, challenges, failure, illness and loss.
The face cards of the Spade suit signifies a person with Black or dark hair, eyes, or skin.
Further, I tend to see these "people" (space kings, queens, or jacks) as single, or recently single, or divorced. A Jack spade is often a "player type" if he shows up next to another male card it could be that this person is a player.
♥ Hearts: emotion, love, happiness, sharing, pleasure, and healing.
The face cards of the Heart suit signify a Light haired (usually blonde) person or a person with light hair, eyes or skin.
The surrounding cards will tell you what happened and/or where, and how, the love will progress. Meaning, pulling a heart card does not mean "true love" (especially) if followed by spades, for example, the indication is trouble in paradise, a break up, or hurt feelings.
♣ Clubs :good luck, growth, activity, work, business and social interactions.
The face cards of the Club suit signify brown haired people, brown skin or eyes.
Clubs indicate things will turn out ok after some work.
Clubs tell me there will be progress through effort in relationships (getting back together after a lot of talking and sussing things out, for example).
Clubs also indicate "time": when people travel for some time (10c), when this take time to grow (3c), when you've had enough time and you've hit a turning point (5c). (More on card meanings later).
♦ Diamonds: energy, power, imagination, money, rewards, success and legal judgements. Whenever someone asks about a legal anything and I get diamonds, it will go in their favor. (Spades, no such luck).
Diamond face cards signify redheads or light hair or eyed people.
SUIT INTERACTIONS:
♠ Spades
- Spade + Spade = serious trouble, illness, possible harm to oneself or another
- Spade + Heart = physical or emotional healing
- Spade + Club = actively working through problems
- Spade + Diamond = imagined problems, improved finances
♥ Hearts
- Heart + Spade = Hurt feelings, emotional pain
- Heart + Heart = joy, happiness, love, romance & having a good time
- Heart + Club = creativity, service to others & good luck Heart + Diamond = happiness & success, comfort & security
♣ Clubs
- Club + Spade = increased difficulties, problems with work increase in power or money
- Club + Heart = happy outcome, developing emotions/
- Club + Club = action & increased activity, taking control
- Club + Diamond = increase in power, energy or money
♦ Diamonds
- Diamond + Spade = energy block, money problem I or spending
- Diamond + Heart = money rewards, positive attractions or sharing money
- Diamond + Club = applied power or investing money
- Diamond + Diamond = great success or acquiring and saving money
There are other tricks and tips like "2 Jacks means a lover comes back". Or 9 of hearts with ANY card means you get your wish -no matter what! Surrounding cards will tell you how fast, how good, like you imagine, with/without drama/trauma.
Playing card divination readings work just like Tarot readings; you can do them yourself for fun, but if you want precision, it's best to call a trusted intuitive.
When I read, I ask callers to take a breath repeat their name and the person involved 3 times slowly. As they do that, I close my eyes, shuffle the cards, and also repeat what they are saying.
Once I hear the callers voice it's like a radio station getting turned on - I tune right in. But, also, the voice vibration goes through me into the cards.
When I read for people in my private life, I allow a meditative state to come over me and channel a reading mostly with my eyes closed or looking up and to the left (I have no idea why - lol:).
But, when I read for people over the phone, I have to be fast. Once I tune in, I get impressions of what they look like, sometimes their environment, but usually hair, body, or skin color. It's as if Spirit is saying "hey Hope, we're gonna tell you about the Mary that's on the phone in Maryland, not the one in Arizona. Here's how you can assure her- this is her hair color.., tell her she just lost weight... Ok now get her question". (Honest engine:).
I answer the question before flipping over the cards and then use the card spread to fill in details. I get pictures and symbols in my mind that show me what's happening. Example, this mornings call: A man called. As I shuffled I knew what he looked like, and that his girlfriend was pregnant but very sad. The spread told me more right away - that he had moved from is girlfriends house because of a meddling person (10h, 9s, 5d, 3s). He said they had just lost the child, broken the relationship, and the mother kicked him out.
