Instead of giving myself reasons that I can’t, I give myself reasons that I can- post on facebook – author unknown

Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. 6Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. –Paul – Philippians 4 :6 NIV

When you dig a well, there's no sign of water until you reach it, only rocks and dirt to move out of the way. You have removed enough; soon the pure water will flow," said Buddha.” ― Deepak Chopra

Scrounging in the couch cushions, under the car seat, scrapping up any loose change I could find, I was getting just enough money to buy a bag of chips for my kids to take to a student picnic.  Found enough for 2 bags, thank the gods.  That morning, we had looked into the fridge, my children were stunned asking what would we eat all week?  I blithely as everyone knows I can seem said, Oh the spirit will take care of us!  Two hours later, their school called, an impromptu picnic was put together.  Yay! That was one meal down, taking care of, eating.  So running down to the local grocer’s , 2 bags of generic brand chips in hand, off they went.  Coming home, later, 5 big boxes of left over hamburger patties, ham, cheese, potato salad, bread, beans,  were brought in with the kids.  “we had so much left over we sent boxes home with ALL the kids”.  We ate for 2 weeks on this food.  I still cry at the thought of how much loved I felt by the very spiritual world I believed in.  I remember a time when $2 in my pocket made me feel safe.  Now the number has risen to $5 but only because a jar of peanut butter, loaf of bread and a can of green beans cost a bit more!  Sometimes we do have to dig to get under the rocks, the dirt, but sometimes we just have to let go and let the gods take care of us. Dreams do come true.

Animal totems:  Vulture:  None of us really like to see vulture. His totem is not a pretty one.  Bro Vulture is a birth, and rebirth symbol, a reminder that bad times do not last but can be restored, renewed, changes.  His medicine shares with us that all life changes, death comes to all, bad times end.  Vulture like Sister eagle, like Bro Owl, has sharp quick vision.  This totem reminds us to be visionaries.  Not to see what is happening right now, but what CAN be. Worry doesn’t help, fear is out enemy, we can have our dreams.

I am here my usual hours today. I answer all paid emails first then the others but will get to all of them.  May the fairies dance around each of us today. Love ya, Me, Cherokee, Cidro, Frankie Capone sugar fortune Cookie, T and the sweet spirit of Bob and Bets.
