Aries is the natural ruler of the first house of self and our own personal desires become paramount during this period-which could conflict with others.
Aries is part of the first/seventh house axis dealing with ourselves and our relationships with others.
This new moon is significant as it 'sets off,' the grand cross between Uranus, Pluto and Jupiter. From here on for the next six weeks or so, we are in a time whereby the energy of the grand cross will become stronger and events that occur, especially if aspecting your personal chart, will become larger as they will in the world.
Moon-Uranus events have an electric quality that are sudden, unexpected and sometimes explosive and often involve women or our emotional life. (Uranus rules aircraft, btw) Moon-Pluto events deal with agendas, subconscious issues, hidden issues and Pluto rules the dark and secret, sex, bullies, power structures and unabated power and ultimate change and transformation.
Moon-Jupiter events may become blown out of proportion or overdone often taking too much for granted, extravagance, and philosophical and religious biases could become evident.
The day or so leading up to the new moon is the dark of the moon and may be low energy.
Saturday morning Venus trines Mars and this produces an optimistic outlook, but by 5:14 p.m., EST Venus squares Saturn on the eve of the new moon and this will produce a tiring if not negative energy that will take at least 24 hours to completely change if not longer. This a powerful energy that deals with relationships, social events, money and in some cases endings.
New moons are associated with new beginnings. This is a powerful new moon and the companion full moon/ lunar eclipse will occur April 15.
At its best this can be a time of breaking free of old patterns, issues or situations to begin something anew in some way. (3-28)
