Today we are going to explore 3 additional signs in our series Love, Sex & Astrology. As I explained in the first post I was not always a believer in the validity of astrology but I have changed my mind greatly over the years and my understanding of personalities, relationships and the interplay between signs has vastly improved my sessions. While not meant to be taken merely on the surface because of the impact of other placements in a chart-this guide can greatly assist you as you seek to further understand and enhance your romantic relationships.
Cancer:
Most Cancerians tend to view the world through rose colored glasses. They are considered the cosmic collectors of the zodiac for their reluctance and even refusal to let go of someone once that person has become important to a Cancerian. Once they fall Cancerians tend to stay in love and are very good at keeping their partner. They dote, they lavish affection but word to the highly independent-they are borderline needy and can be high maintenance. While they give a lot-they also expect a lot in return. What it is that they want in return can be just as mysterious as the sign itself.
Cancer women tend to want a man who is cultured and worldly but also simple in some ways. She enjoys a man who can wear a good pair of worn in jeans but also needs him to still ‘clean up nice’. Cancerian men enjoy women who sometimes dress seductively or even suggestively. A low cut shirt or a short skirt or even a good pair of F%ck me heels will draw in his attention. Cancerian men will never admit this but they enjoy a good challenge so many of their initial connections will benefit from a bit of well played challenge, especially in the bedroom and leading up to.
Word to the wise-do not appear too fast. While they enjoy a seductive woman they will only settle down and marry a woman that they can take home to mama-a good girl. Or at least one who can appear that way on the surface until he gets her back in the car to head home. Want to keep your Cancer lover? Save the drama for your mama. They enjoy sweetness and tranquility and those who thrive on upheaval will bore the Cancer man or woman.
Leo:
Oh the mighty lions of the zodiac! They have a fiery personality that can draw in even the most introverted of lovers. They are engaging, gregarious and like to have a good time. They are prideful full of ego and do not suffer fools lightly. They are suckers for good conversations so being well read, intelligent and generally versed on pop and world culture is essential. They will quickly grow bored by those with superficial or no intelligence and who agree with all that they say. Though they can appear intimidating, Leo does actually need a bit of friction in their lives. Even if it’s to just show you who is alpha or for the sake of a good conversation be sure to be honest about your thoughts and opinions.
Leo’s are fiery in and out of the bedroom. If you want to capture their attention pay attention and have the foundation of ‘pretty’ in place. Men-whiten your teeth, have the shoes polished and be sure that your clothes are not dated. If you’re your Leo lioness sees you sporting a mullet she will not only make cruel jokes at your expense you will have lost her forever. I’ve known Leo women who are turned off because of the type of socks their date was wearing. Women- play up your assets.
Do not be afraid to embrace your sexy side and play a good ol’ game of cat and mouse with your Leo lover. Leo’s always, ALWAYS go for sexy so do not head into your date with your granny panties and loafers. Pull out your stiletto’s, have the hair professionally done and make sure your nails (and hands in general) are in good condition. If they shake your hand and it feels like a piece of sand paper your Leo man will be immediately turned off.
Want to keep your Lion? Remember that though their bravado and ego can make it seem as though they are full of themselves Leo’s actually tend to be quite insecure; constantly worried that they will not be recognized as powerful. Ego stroking and appeasement is necessary. Be mindful that while they need the right sort of ego stroking they will quickly grow bored with someone who fawns over them constantly.
Virgo:
Here is the kicker with our Virgo men and women-want them to fall in love with you? Of course you do, they can be quite faithful and devoted partners. The key, however, is to be someone that they can trust and depend on. If you are not able to be consistent and stable mentally, emotionally and physically they will hit the pavement. Additionally you cannot be a push-over. Virgos need the excitement of a good argument or squabble. Just be sure to check your grudge holding or nastiness at the door. Virgos above all are acutely aware of social manners and behaviors.
If you begin to devolve into a screaming 2 year old or end up slamming the phone down and obstinately crossing your arms and ignoring their calls they will quickly lose any and all interest. The key with a Virgo long term is that they need to be in control of the family dynamic. They want to control the children, the house, what is made in the kitchen etc. It will be imperative that you learn to give them some control or work with their need for control in order for this to have any long term potential.
Additionally both male and female Virgos like a more ‘subtle’ sexiness. They do not like show-offs or those who try too hard. For them-sexiness comes from within. Those who may look good on the outside but have the personality of a rhino will lose the interest of their beloved Virgo. Women Virgos seem to be more preoccupied with the details-how he dresses, if he has nice hands, if he has taken good care of his hair etc. Virgo men are less concerned about these details and more concerned with whether or not they are respected and listened to. Someone who tries to make a Virgo man feel stupid (even if perhaps something that flew from their mouth was in fact ignorant) will watch as their passion meter drops steadily.
