For the next few months I am going to be writing a blog use the tarot and a daily card. Starting with today Card the Four of Cups. A boy sits with his arms crossed as an angel offers him a cup of wine. Another three cups sit on the ground in from of him. But he shows no interests in any of them. A flock of sheep sleep at his feet and a dog look wearily on the angel. A donkey stand stubbornly nearby.
The suits of cups often deals with emotion. The four of Warn against the grass on the other side looking greener. This cards warns against taking you blessing for granted. There is a tendency to yearn for the forbidden or things that are unattainable, but you have so much to be thankful for. Is it really worth risking what you have for something which lose appeal in when you do obtain it.
In the reversed position this warns you against the fear of boredom and the consequence of making a rash or incomplete decision. Take care to consider everything within your grasp already and weight out the consequences before making a decision that may not be suitable for you.
We as people tend to get bored with most thing in our lives and often look at what we do have as a blessing. This can come in many different form such as Relationships we are in to even what we have in our home. Most times we take for grant the people in our lives especially when we get bored in our relationships. But just because the grass may look greener in the other pasture does not mean you are going to find what you seek there.
Do not allow your greed or boredom in your current situations leads you to making a hasty or rash decision. Always weigh out the positives and negatives to all thing you have in your life and give thanks for them before you lose them.
