How To Release Negative Emotions From Your Body!

Energy, once its created, cannot be undone. For example, if you become angry and do not release the anger from your body, it stays there forever. This is why during therapy, if you go into an event that you had no idea you even cared about and have a huge release, be it crying, yelling, or even laughing, the emotion at that moment was finally freed from your body and liberates you from the moment it was created.

It's important to examine how to release all of this junk we are carrying around so that we may become better healers, better channels and better psychics. Or, just happier people! The following exercise is for everybody that has the desire to feel more at peace with themselves and to clean out the junk. Ready to get started?

OK, here we go!

There are a number of things you can do to release energy form your body. Once you start doing it,  it will begin to flow out of you naturally and asked to be released on a regular basis, so be ready!

There are a few very simple things you can do. Once you recognize the need for release, scream into a pillow. OK, I know this sounds simplistic, but it actually works quite well. Scream until you just can't scream any longer and do it with every ounce of your being. Some people feel sick after, some need a nap. Others immediately feel cleaner. Also, you can beat up a cardboard box with a bat, you can take up running (while focusing on release), use a punching bag, or you can perform martial arts. Your method for release is unimportant,  just so long as you harm no one in the process and you perform a physical act.  Don't yell at your lover, don't swat your dog, don't punish yourself by eating too much or not enough. Release safely and responsibly and love yourself in the process.

The other tool that's helpful is writing and burning. In it's own way, this is a physical release due to the burning aspect of the exercise. Although, I'd still recommend doing the physical exercise!
So, what you do is get some paper and something to write with and compose a letter to your higher self asking it to take away what is grieving you. It's helpful to avoid censoring or editing and just be free flowing with your writing. Do not be surprised if what comes out is a million profanities and nothing else. Do not judge what you write and just allow it to flow out of you. Once you feel finished, take your pages and safely burn them, preferably outside, but if you have a fireplace that would be fine. Focus on feeling the subject of your letter burning from your being as your higher power takes it from you while you watch the letter burn.  Perform this exercise every day, and feel it change your life!
