Hi folks!
In case you were looking for me today, I was away trying to put the house back together after the snow day yesterday. It took me pretty much all day to get the living room from being covered with a layer of toys that was roughly an inch deep to something orderly. That lasted about fifteen minutes, because that was how long I had before the boys got home from school.
It wouldn't have been so terribly frustrating except for the fact that my youngest, whom I call Cuddle Bug, decided to start throwing monkeys. Looking back on it now, the idea that there were flying monkeys in a witch's house is actually kinda funny. For the majority of the afternoon, I spent my time taking those blasted monkeys away from Cuddle Bug and trying to keep him occupied so that he didn't bedevil his brother.
Speaking of Snuggle Bear, that boy has been just a pistol over the last few days. I'd half swear that he was invigorated by this bitterly cold weather we have been having. He has been so excited and active that I've been having to tell him to stop jumping on the furniture. It's very frustrating. I feel terrible for our poor neighbor down stairs. She tells me that the boys aren't too loud, but I worry about that.
I'm hoping that the weather tomorrow will be decent. I'll be out most of the morning because it is laundry day. I usually do that on the weekend but this weekend was spent taking care of a sick hubby and wired children. Honestly, I don't know how single parents do it. I will be on for a bit in the afternoon when I get home from washing the gobs and gobs of laundry that I have piled up in the back hallway.
Until then, I hope that everyone has a lovely Tuesday evening!
