Laguz is associate with water. Frequently considered to be a lake or the ocean, this rune is associated with all things traditionally assigned to watery elements. At times, Laguz is considered to be a waterfall or moving water, such as a river. Laguz is a rune strongly associated with fertility and women.
Coming to us merkstave, or reversed, Laguz warns us of the undertow and the rip tide. We are cautioned not to move forward heedlessly or go beyond our limitations.
