Today I am reminded of the beautiful memories that I created with my family this past holiday season - lots of love and learning. One in particular was a visit with my Great Aunt. I've always enjoyed being around her and her energy. On this occasion, I noticed one thing stood out with this amazing woman - her positive words and free expression of love and joy.
She made us feel so welcome with words and phrases like, "I'm truly happy that you are here" or saying to my 21 month old nephew "I love you". It truly made us feel warm, loved and cherished.
When we are around people, take the time to emphasize pure emotions and use words that convey love, joy, happiness and optimism. It really is contagious and can carry a person throughout the day. Keep the negative and the complaining to a minimum and up the love in your interactions. Practice smile, politeness and courtesy (not the fake kind but one that comes from your heart) with not only people you know but also with strangers. You will feel good on the inside and the energy you create and vibrate will bring more happy positive loving people into your sphere.
What will you share with others and how will this change your approach to the interactions you have today?
With love and compassion
