The Moon entered busy Virgo
The
Moon entered busy Virgo yesterday with a chore list a mile long but
before we could roll up our sleeves and dive in, spacey Neptune slipped
us all a mickey and we headed out the door without our wallets and
shopping lists. Luckily there were helpful trines to the moon from both
Mercury and the Sun in Capricorn that kept us from drowning in a mental
and emotional fog. With both the Moon and Sun in earth signs right now,
we all yearn for the tried and true. Traditions, hard work and that
retro vibe all hold sway now. Of course, we also feel compelled to give
in to rampant commercialism all around by buying obligatory presents.
Since the Sun in big daddy Capricorn is less outwardly sentimental than
its opposite sign of mamma bear Cancer, it prefers to show its love in
practical and material ways hence the frenzy of holiday gift giving.
Today the Virgo Moon joins with intense Pluto in Capricorn to solidify
our plans and throw all our focus into whatever we are doing. There
should be a burst of energy and we’ll feel a committed to completing our
to do lists and everything will be sign, sealed and delivered on time
(fingers crossed).
Tomorrow, messenger Mercury will shift into
tradition bound Capricorn so everyone must respect the rules (especially
the rules of the road which will be hard as reckless Mars moves closer
to opposing unpredictable Uranus on Xmas). Don’t drink too much of Uncle
Phil’s eggnog because the Neptune-Sun alignment will make you more
interested in the pretty holiday lights than those red stop signs.
