It's at this time of year that I bring to you my end of year forecast so that we may better prepare for other peoples' attitudes (as well as our own).

The sun enters Capricorn on the start of winter and the shortest day of the year, Saturday, Dec. 21st. The Christmas week is a gloomier one emotionally speaking. It is a time to be thinking with your head, not with your heart. Mercury enters Capricorn on Dec. 24th. This time period will be marked by more sober reflections and serious behavior. 7 out of 10 planets are out of alignment on Christmas day. Another T-square forms between the Libra moon and the Uranus and Pluto clash. Bring the Libra traits to the scene; stay calm, weigh out choices and be diplomatic. This advice goes for the world as well our individuals.
The last week of the year brings healing energy through the Grand Sextile we had in late summer, thanks to retrograde Jupiter and Venus (revisiting). We also find that we must be responsible (Capricorn) for our problems. When we look back over the year and sing Auld Lang Syne we do so with more harsh reality and little warmth. But we find it is important to view our life with an objective and less personal measure. We see that our successes are in our own growth as a person, not in material things.
May we all collectively find balance, inner peace, and healing for the world.
