Rune of the Day: Kenaz
Kenaz is a rune of learning, of craftsmanship, of ability and innovation. This rune indicates a need to work on bettering yourself either through learning something new or through advancing and honing skills you already have.
It is only through knowledge that we can advance and grow, but knowledge not used or applied to our lives is a waste of time. Taking the time to truly understand what we learn is what gives us the experiences that help us to grow.
Many things such as how to change the oil in a car, or how to make a souffle are not truly learned until you have actually performed
the task. The experience of actually doing something new and not just
reading or being told about it is what helps us to grow. Kenaz is telling us to learn something new, and to add to our experiences as well as our knowledge.
