Wheel of Fortune
This card is one of the most difficult to interpret since it suggests events that are beyond human control. If this card is drawn it suggests that you have reached the end of a cycle and a new phase is beginning. It brings to mind the cycles of nature, such as the seasons, but these events are our out of our hands. Unexpected changes are about to happen, and because they often come unannounced it can feel as if fate has taken a hand in a situation and you have no control. This can feel either exciting or disconcerting because there is no certainty as to whether these changes will be positive or negative. They could be related to relationships, work, or home and can disrupt the patterns of your life, serving as a reminder that nothing stays the same forever. It may be necessary to let go of the past in order to progress, but you can take comfort in the knowledge that it is sometimes necessary to go down in order to come up again. A new opportunity for growth is being heralded and this may come in the form of a person or situation that you are destined to meet.

This card is often feared unnecessarily. Contrary to what you might imagine, this card is not indicative of an imminent death. Actually it indicates the passing of an old way of life and suggests that you are about to embark on a new phase. In order to do this, you will need to let go of the past and put it behind you. This might involve the end of a relationship, the loss of a job or way of life, but whatever change is represented by this card, you will need courage to face the fact that you can no longer hold onto the past. A complete transformation is being offered to you and you could find yourself in new surroundings, in a new relationship, or facing a new challenge of some kind. Sometimes this card means a marriage, a job change or the chance for a fresh start. You might need to adopt a new attitude in order to move on and take advantage of the new opportunities that are opening up.
