On Sept 11th, 911-Day of Remembrance when almost 3,000 people were murdered by terrorists, Putin decided to leave a message on the free press of the U.S. and write an OpEd piece for the NY Times.
In his NY Times OpEd Putin wrote:
What is happening to Putin? He seems to be embracing western ways with his letter to Americans. I wrote about his success with negotiating with Syria's President in an earlier blog about his vedic chart. Here I will take a quick look at his transits with his western chart.
Putin did the almost unthinkable for a Russian leader, and no I'm not referring to the insults to American foreign policies or the 'exceptional' statement which is not surprising from him. He did something else that for lack of a better word is 'miraculous.' The former Communist spoke about God in his article. He wrote:

Syria is not witnessing a battle for democracy, but an armed conflict between government and opposition in a multireligious country. There are few champions of democracy in Syria. But there are more than enough Qaeda fighters and extremists of all stripes battling the government. In an earlier blog looking at Syria's chart I wrote about the Uranus square Pluto hitting the Sun (leader) and power of the opposition was shown very prominently. This fighting will be going on for a few years at least.

We are all different, but when we ask for the Lord’s blessings, we must not forget that God created us equal.
The most striking aspect he has going on is t-Neptune conjunct his n-
Jupiter- exact! This aspect can bring about religious and spiritual
awareness. He is feeling more compassionate and emotional than he would normally.
To begin with, he has an excellent Jupiter in dignity in Pisces, along with Neptune in his first house, water sign rising and Ascendant ruler in a water sign. This would give him strong psychic, empathic, spiritual, and religious awareness than might not be expected from a Russian president.
Jupiter is placed in his fourth house which covers the second part or end of life matters. As he grows older (he is 51 years old now) he will continue to have spiritual or psychic experiences. He will be able to sympathize more with others and perhaps make some positive changes to improve the life of his people.
Transiting Jupiter traveling through his 9th house of foreign diplomacy gives him luck in dealing with foreign affairs from now until June 2014 when Jupiter will enter his 10th house from 2014 -15 which may win him accolades or awards for his good works. Who knows, maybe he'll get that coveted Nobel Prize which he seems to desire.
As Jupiter travels through his 10th and opposes his 4th, he may make some more positive governmental changes in his country. It will be an auspicious time for his leadership and he will be very successful in whatever he undertakes.
The path to peaceful diplomacy will be bumpy for him. October 20th 2013 t-Saturn will conjunct his n-Neptune in his first house. During this time he may feel some depression or being isolated. He would have to be careful of any scandals surrounding him. This could lead to irrational fears or paranoia. He may suffer from negative thoughts and feelings. This aspect will last a few months leading up to it and after. Contemplation and meditation will be useful during this time. It is a positive time for him to build something or be involved in organizations related to the ocean, hospitals, art, music, and entertainment. This could also lead him to create more regulations/policies regarding chemical weapons.
Around the April 21, 2014 Uranus/Pluto square which will hit his Sun/Mercury exactly he may also have some big changes. He may be faced with some rebellions from workers and servicemen (t-Uranus in his 6th) or from other opposition parties (Uranus r-4). Or he may surprise people with a sudden career change (Sun rules his 10th) or government policy.
Throughout all of 2014, t-Pluto will be squaring his Sun and Mercury. Important times will be in January, July and December. He will be involved in intense discussions and communications. He will do best to hold secretive or behind-the-scenes talks rather than public speaking where her may hurt or offend others and only make things worse. His words have a greater impact than usual over the coming year and a half and what he says will have far reaching and powerful repercussions.
