Today I am blogging about boundaries--how to set them and enforce them. You deserve a strong and healthy love life with YOUR perfect mate.

A boundary is not an agreement. Only YOU have to agree to your boundaries. Your boundary is your line in the sand. It's a situation that you must remedy if that line is crossed. When someone oversteps that line, it's best to handle that matter ASAP, while remembering that remaining calm is much more effective than behaving irrationally.
A boundary is something that must never be crossed. Hopefully it is possible to resolve the situation to YOUR satisfaction, but you would need to take the necessary steps so that you are never subjected to that situation again. Boundaries usually are set to avoid abusive situations (cheating, stealing, threatening, etc).
Examples of Boundaries:
- No sexual relations outside this relationship (cheating).
- No abuse in any form (yelling, hitting, belittling, stealing, etc.).
YOU are the one who decides what your line in the sand is, this is never a mutual agreement. If others are not honest and respectable, they cannot make a decision in your best interests. It's never wise to allow yourself to be persuaded or manipulated to stay in a relationship that hurts you.
Take back your personal power by getting clear about your line in the sand (boundaries), and the consequences of violating them. Those who draw their own line in the sand are not hurt as badly as those who do not draw boundaries.
The most wonderful thing about love is that the more you share, the more is returned to you. It's the one commodity we can never run out of!Laugh Often, Laugh Freely and Laugh Loudly!
