Gertrude Jekyll, like Monet, was a painter with poor eyesight, and their gardens - his at Giverny in the Seine valley, hers in Surrey - had resemblances that may have sprung from this condition. Both loved plants that foamed and frothed over walls and pergolas, spread in tides beneath trees; both saw flowers in islands of colored light - an image the normal eye captures only by squinting. ~Eleanor Perenyi
What we call reality is an agreement that people have arrived at to make life more livable. ~Louise Nevelson
Today we have a bright warm sun shining . I sit out in the garden closing my eyes with the heat of the sun on my face. I close my eyes, just letting whatever comes to me float into my 3rd eye. Horses start running fast into view, my ancients come to stand with me. I love to chat with them as the wisdom on the old ancient Native American Cherokees, always a message of peace, a message of giving is a key here to life. I am reminded that giving back is always the answer to having, to receiving peace. There are times in our lives when all seems to overwhelm us. Bills, our love life, our families, life is full of ups and downs, full of one blow after another blow. The horses in my meditation come to a stop on a rock at the top of the mountain, looking out over the valley below to see everything. I am reminded that if we can just rise above the problem we can see many wondrous miracles right on the edge to come. We can be like Monet, as Jekyll, even though we can’t actually SEE the garden properly, we know we have planted the seeds, in our 3rd eye we envision our dreams, we plant the seed, we see from the top of the mountain, clearly even with the blindness “reality” give us. Yesterday’s reality is not today’s today’s is not tomorrows. Our dreams are placed in by the spirit in our heart. We can squint to see through the fog, through the problems to allow the garden’s beauty to come to us.
Animal totems: Horses: This totem comes to remind us we have freedom, we have power, we have strength. We can continue to move toward our dreams with the freedom to believe that each one will come through the rough paths. The medicine here is to share that being fearless, surefooted, we can go ahead, move through to see new directions, new ways to reach the goal. When the dream is there in our heart, we only have to find HOW to reach the dream, not if we have the dream.
I am here my usual hours today . I look forward to sharing with each person. May the fairies dance around each of us today. Love ya, Me, Cherokee, Cidro, Frankiecapone, Sugar Fortune cookie, T and the sweet spirits of bob and Bets.
