I love quotes. I can't get enough of them. One of my favorite quotes is "if you can't say it simply, you don't understand it enough." And that's exactly what quotes seem to do. They allow us to see through the eye of an eagle, and break off a little piece of wisdom from some of those that may be wiser. Oftentimes if i have an idea or notion that i can't articulate fully yet i look to quotes for clarity on verbalizing my thoughts. So here are just a few of what are probably hundreds of quotes that have changed my perspective, guided my beliefs and led me to a better me.

As Above, So Below, As Within So Without ("That which is Below corresponds to that which is Above, and that which is Above corresponds to that which is Below, to accomplish the miracle of the One Thing.)

 

"Thirty spokes converge as a wheel, but the space in the middle allows the axle, to create a vehicle. Clay may be made into a pot, but the space inside allows us to put things in it. Windows and doors may be carved to make a room, but the space inside allows us to live in it. So, presence enables use, but absence makes something useful."

That's why nothing is important.

 

When people show you themselves, believe them.
