Famous former actress and hotline psychic, Miss Cleo is still an instantly recognizable name a decade after her phone reading empire collapsed.
Her no-nonsense, abrupt, and aggressive approach to her readings along with a fake Jamaican accent, made her an instant hit in the many commercials which advertised her telephone readings.
Her character has spawned many comic skits and even songs like "THE MISS CLEO SONG" created by Dwayne Milan which is on youtube and can be downloaded from Itunes.
Love her or loathe her, she is a pop culture icon - the most famous phone psychic ever and an example skeptics use to attack psychic phone readers.
Who is she? How did she become so famous? Is she really psychic?

So today we chat about Miss Cleo who turned 51 this past Monday!

The first thing I noticed about Miss Cleo is Neptune is Scorpio that lies in her second house of money. This is both good and bad..As it trines her Jupiter this gives her some psychic abilities, but as it squares her Sun she took shortcuts in making money and as we all know did some very deceptive things with her organization. She became persona non grata in the psychic world.

What I found interesting about that whole fiasco of her Psychic Readers Network, was that her partners were charged with unsolicited emails and fraudulent charges but SHE wasn't charged with anything!!!!

yes, and she has Pluto opposing Jupiter making her very ambitious. Perhaps not afraid to do thing others would consider illegal.

She is a very practical person, Earth Asc, Moon and Asc ruler exalted in Virgo. I think her business acumen kept her from having to pay anything. She made sure she was covered legally. She may talk about the other side but her feet a firmly planted on the ground.

She has a similarity to Edward Snowden, powerful Asc ruler opposed powerful 7th house ruler (Jupiter) so she makes powerful enemies (govt) but she doesn't give in to them. She is very very intelligent and knows how to manipulate people, things, legal maneuverings to her advantage

I see her Venus is in Libra trine Saturn. This aspect helps her. Venus Libra can come across well (and Nice), and Saturn can give grounding and stability too.

yes she has many powerfully placed planets! That Venus makes her very well-liked. I read that she does readings in Florida now in a café and she is very popular.

Neptune conjuncted her Saturn that year. That is a very significant transit and can lead to the dissolution of many things, people and situations in life. If you have done something wrong it will often come back to haunt you.

Yes it does seem like she had them. Of course not everyone who worked on this psychic hotline were really psychics and they had scripts they read. So the company did a lot of deception but it wasn't directly from her performance

If she had called an astrologer they could have warned her what a transit like Neptune-Saturn can actually bring.
